Information we collect

Video Toolbox does not collect personal data, analytics, advertising identifiers, usage histories, or media content. The app has no account system and no Video Toolbox backend.

Media processing

Videos and files you select are inspected and processed locally to compress, resize, trim, remove audio, extract audio, preview, save, or share an output. Originals remain unchanged.

Temporary files are used only for local processing and handoff. An item received through the Share Extension is staged in the app’s private shared container so the main app can open it.

Photos and Files access

Photo read access is requested only when you choose a video from Photos. Photo add access is requested only when you choose Save to Photos. Files are selected through Apple’s system document picker.

The app does not request Camera or Microphone access.

Sharing

If you choose an external destination in the iOS share sheet or save to a third-party file provider, that provider’s privacy terms apply. Video Toolbox does not send media anywhere unless you explicitly choose a destination.

Purchases

Apple processes the optional Lifetime purchase through the App Store and StoreKit. Video Toolbox uses Apple-verified transaction status to unlock features. We do not operate a purchase server and do not receive your payment details.

Tracking, advertising, and children

Video Toolbox contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or tracking technology. It does not build profiles or sell information. Because no personal data is collected, the app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version introduces a backend, analytics, accounts, cloud sync, or other data practice, this page and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that version is distributed.
